A View that Kills- SF's Treasure Island

People have asked me where is the best view they can see of San Francisco. A lot of people are surprised when I tell them the best view is actually not in SF, but from an island right across the way. Treasure Island is a artificial island in the Bay between San Francisco and Oakland. It's connected to the Bay Bridge and can be accessed any time of the day. The island was built for the World Fair back in 1937. Today you can visit the island, park in the visitor section, and see one of the best skylines in the world. Go there on a clear night and you'll see some breathtaking views of San Francisco. So be sure to bring your camera.
